Trust & Engineering

Security engineered into every examination stage.

High-stakes evaluations require genuine technical safeguards. We prioritize transparent, defense-in-depth engineering rather than hollow marketing buzzwords.

How ExamQuik Protects Assessment Integrity

Our platform applies security at the architecture, session, application, and database layers.

Server-Side Authority

Clients cannot manipulate exam clocks or answer scores. Exam start times, per-question durations, auto-submission deadlines, and scoring logic are strictly executed on the server.

Zero Client-Side Score Calculation

Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC)

Administrative permissions strictly segment authoring privileges, question approvals, student evaluation records, and platform configuration.

Principle of Least Privilege

Hardened Session Management

Candidate and administrative sessions use secure cookie attributes (HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, Secure flags over TLS) to safeguard against cross-site scripting and session hijacking.

Anti-Hijacking Defenses

Anti-Tampering & CSRF Tokens

All state-modifying requests and examination responses require cryptographically secure per-session CSRF tokens, preventing unauthorized submission cross-talk.

Cryptographic CSRF Tokens

Rate Limiting & Abuse Prevention

Automated threshold monitoring protects public inquiry forms, exam access points, and verification endpoints against brute-force flooding and automated scraping.

Adaptive Rate Throttling

Protected Storage Architecture

Candidate records and question master keys are stored outside public web roots or shielded with strict web server access denial (.htaccess & 403 blocks).

Direct Web Access Denied

Our Commitment to Honest Technical Claims

In the online testing industry, many vendors claim "100% cheat-proof" exams or display unverified compliance badges. At ExamQuik, we reject exaggerated claims:

  • No software alone can prevent every form of physical cheating without human supervision. We focus on minimizing digital vulnerabilities, randomizing question delivery, and monitoring tab-switch activity.
  • We do not claim external third-party certifications (e.g. ISO 27001, SOC 2) unless they have been formally audited and verified for the specific deployment.
  • We prioritize data minimization: we do not collect unnecessary student metadata or biometric data without explicit institutional authorization.
